The Langkawi Island tour will be on the 6th August 2009 (Thursday). The tour includes Langkawi Geopark and Langkawi Cable Car. Price per person is RM 25.00 for transportation (NOT including the admission fee). Limited space and available on first come first serve basis. For those interested and to book your seat, please bring the fees during registration.

DISCLAIMER  The fee is NOT REFUNDABLE if you withdraw after your registration is accepted by the Organising Committee. However, substitute attendees are always welcome. Please retain your payment receipt for future reference.    For active full-time student in 2009, (non-presenters only) scan your ID card together with the Participants registration form & payment receipt to our treasurer for the eligibility of discounted fees of RM 600 (US$ 200) . Acceptance of Full Technical Paper

ACCEPTANCE OF FULL TECHNICAL PAPER

The acceptance of full technical paper had been officially sent via email to all corresponding author(s). If you have yet to receive any confirmation, please email our Secretary of the Technical Committe at m.ismail@utm.my (Attention: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed AbdelKader Ismail). We hope to seeing you in Langkawi for the APSEC-EACEF 2009 conference.   The acceptance of full technical paper will be gradually announced by the 15th April 2009. All corresponding authors will be notified via email including the registration form and the payment method. On behalf of the organising committee, we are sorry for the delay and hope to see you in Langkawi for the APSEC-EACEF 2009 conference.

 The deadline for the submission of full technical paper for the conference is 31st January 2009

Author(s) who may have missed the abstract(s) deadline can still submit the full technical paper if you intend to participate in the conference (subjected to the approval by the Technical Committee). You can do so by submitting them in accordance to the full paper format that can be obtained here or at the right side menu of this page. Send your full technical paper to warid@utm.my or m.ismail@utm.my.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to say thank you to all authors who had submitted their abstract(s) to the conference. The abstract submission is now CLOSED. The notification of abstract acceptance has been sent to the corresponding author. If you have not yet received any confirmation, please send your queries to warid@utm.my or m.ismail@utm.my.

However, we are still accepting the full paper from author(s) who may have missed the abstract(s) deadline. If you intend to participate in the conference, you can do so by submitting the full paper to the above e-mail by 31st January 2009. The full paper format can be obtained here.

Call for Papers

SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT(S)

Authors are invited to submit abstract of about 300 words in the above topics written in English on A4 size paper with 25 mm all round margin as soon as possible. Abstract should indicate clearly the title of the paper, author’s affiliation, corresponding address, telephone, facsimile and e-mail address. All abstracts should be written in either *pdf or MSWord 2003 format and submit via e-mail or facsimile to the organising committee with the registration form (click here to download the registration form). Alternatively, click here to submit your abstract(s) via the website by registering and filling up an online form. The abstract should reach the conference secretariat before 30th September 2008.
